Ten years after Shadow left the Scepter of Darkness outside Aquatic Base, Eggman stole it and took it with him to his base in White Acropolis. Soon after, G.U.N gave Rouge the BAt the mission to steal it from Eggman and give it to the base, but Rouge's signal was lost soon after she stole the Scepter of Darkness.

The Flame of Hope, later to be known as the transdimensional and transcendent life form known as Solaris, was currently being experimented on in Aquatic Lab, 10 years ago.

Solaris had two components, raw power, and an active consciousness and will. Experiment was called the Solaris Project, and the Duke of Soleanna was trying to harness his power to travel through time to erase his past mistakes and to see his dead wife, but something went wrong.
